Vembanad lake
Situated 15 km away from Kottayam, Vembanad lake is the longest lake in India flanked by lush greenery. Punnamada Kayal
Punnamada kayal is a part of Vembanad lake located in Alleppey and this is where the Nehru Trophy boat race is conducted every year during the Onam festival. Pookode Lake
